All 4 You Electrical is looking for Journeyman Electricians! We are a family-owned, locally operated business specializing in residential, commercial, and new construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, control systems, and power distribution.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan installations or repairs.
Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients to complete projects on time and within budget.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure long-term functionality.
Test electrical systems for continuity, safety, and performance using tools like multimeters and circuit testers.
Provide guidance or supervision to apprentices or less experienced electricians.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
Qualifications:
Valid journeyman electrician license or certification as required by state of Idaho.
Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training (typically 4-5 years).
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment.
Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments, including confined spaces or at heights.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid driver’s license.
Work Environment:
Work may occur indoors or outdoors, in various weather conditions.
May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or in potentially hazardous environments.
Often requires standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods.
May involve on-call or overtime work for emergency repairs.
Typical Requirements:
2-5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician (post-apprenticeship).
Familiarity with industry-standard tools and safety protocols.
Ability to pass background checks or drug screenings.
